What makes footsteps special?

About learning
– that’s why we have lower teachers/kaiako to child and caregiver ratios than other organisations and only work one-on-one to provide an individualised programme that suits everyone’s needs.

About support
– that’s why we spend more time on visits with children/tamaiti and caregivers than any other service, to ensure they are getting the support they require and deserve.

About training
– that’s why we give all our staff up to 20 days professional development annually (the best in the sector) to ensure we provide the latest thinking in early childhood development and provide workshops for caregivers to further their knowledge.

About our caregivers
- that’s why we expect our teachers/kaiako to write the child’s/tamaiti learning journey and photo stories so caregivers can concentrate on the child/tamaiti and the job in hand.

About communities
– that is why 10% of our profits go back into the community to support more children/tamariki with the best start in life.

That is why…

The child is the heart of our endeavours
