Children6footsteps seeks early childhood teachers/kaiako that:

Children8In the teacher/kaiako role, you support and offer guidance to a diverse range of caregivers, including nannies, private home-based educarers and family foster whānau carers. The flexibility of this role allows you to work from home, manage your own time, case load and be involved in local communities.

Minimum requirements:

  • Diploma of Teaching Early Childhood, Registered Teacher,
  • Thorough understanding of Te Whāraki,
  • A commitment to maintain our high quality programmes for children in a home setting,
  • A high standard of written assesment ability,
  • Be able to work from home, providing a home office with computer and printer etc. (must be computer literate and know how to use microsoft office products),
  • Must have drivers licence and own motor vehicle.
